In 2004, we were named the 5th fastest growing restaurant chain in the US. We are very proud to have just opened our 200th "BEEF'S." We have another 120+ territories sold and in various stages of development. We are on track to open 51 new Beef's in 2006 and 55 new Beef's in 2007.

We are proud to be "OPERATORS SERVING OPERATORS." Our home office team is made up almost entirely from experienced restaurant operators who have very successfully run independent and chain restaurants. We offer first-hand expertise to assist you in operating successful and profitable restaurants.

How much does it cost?


Our franchise fee is $35,000, paid up front and our royalty fee is 4%, paid monthly. We also require you to pay 1.5% into an advertising fund each month, which is used 100% for advertising in your market.

Our requirements are that you have a minimum of $125,000 in cash or cash equivalent for each Beef's restaurant. That's stocks, bonds, etc. that are convertible to cash. Approximately $100,000 of that must be available in cash to open your Beef 'O' Brady's. The total costs to open may range from $300,000 to $550,000 or more per Beef's, depending on many variables (mostly related to your site).

You would need to have a minimum net worth of $250,000 for each Beef's, and would need to borrow between $200,000 and $450,000 (or possibly more as appropriate) for each Beef's.

At this time, we are franchising single or two unit opportunities only. We are an owner operator driven brand, and we require an owner operator in every Beef's Family Sports Pub.


Do you offer financing?
We work with several lenders who offer various types of loan programs, depending on your industry experience and your collateral. Most franchise partners use an SBA backed loan for their 1st location. We are a preferred brand with SBA and our lenders.


How much can I make?

That depends entirely on you. The key element of a successful Beef's is you, the operator. We do not provide earnings claims. You can get this information by calling our franchise partners listed on our website. They are usually your best source of information.


Do I need restaurant experience to succeed?
No. More than half of our new partners don't have any previous restaurant background. We have a high quality training program that you will complete prior to opening. It is a total of approximately 9 weeks of in-store training plus at least one new store opening that you will participate in with our training team. A business background is a real plus.


Do I have to run the Beef's myself?
We are an owner operator driven brand. Our success comes from having an owner who involved in their community meeting and promoting their brand. Then these same folks who you met in your community see you in your Beef's. We require that if you have an operator of your Beef's that they own a minimum of 10% as an equity partner. It's critical to us that the day-to-day operator is strongly vested in your Beef's.


What areas do you have available?
This is often the most important question. Is there a franchise opportunity near my home? We strongly advise that your likelihood of success is much higher when you are living in the same community that you are serving with your Beef's. Your friends, neighbors, and acquaintances from church, school, and work will be your customers.


Who picks the site?
We will assist you in finding the right site for your Beef's. We use a network of broker's who will act as your tenant representative to assist you with your real estate. We have a Director of Real Estate with 20+ years of successful site selection in the franchise industry who will work with you and the broker to get the best site at the best terms.

I'm sure that you will go out and look at available sites to see what's out there. That's OK with us. We would ask that you not use the Beef 'O' Brady's name until you have signed documents and secured your franchise area. Finding your site is another part of the support that we provide to you as part of your $35,000 franchise fee.


Who builds the site?
We have a project manager who assists you with all aspects of planning, construction, equipment purchasing and set up. We work with several experienced vendors who have successfully designed, developed, and equipped our Beef's restaurants. We have negotiated favorable rates for you so they can build you the best restaurant at the lowest cost. It's not a totally turn-key project, but it's a very easy to follow process for you to succeed in your construction, even if you have no experience at all in this area. It's a terrific service that we provide to you as part of your support.

After we receive your completed personal application, we send you a copy of our UFOC (Uniform Franchise Offering Circular). This is the entire package of information for Beef 'O' Brady's. It includes copies of our agreements, a list of all of our franchise partners, and the range of costs to open your own Beef's. There are some sales figures and financial information included.

We strongly urge you to do your homework. Visit all the Beef's that you can. We want you to visit at least 6 Beef's and speak with the owners prior to taking the next step. When planning a visit, please call or stop by during off peak hours of business, as they are operators and are usually busy during lunch and dinner periods.

Our approach to franchising is different than most others. We are looking for the right fit with the right people to join our BEEF'S brand family. We are not a high pressure sales force.
